End of January

It's the last day of January, and I feel like it has flown! We had a great holiday trip, visiting the Kellers in Jonesboro, the Bassetts in Crane, and the Tacketts in Huntsville. We have so many great memories.....playing Rook and Rummicub, breaking up ice in Dollar and Sassy's trough and on Papa and Nana's pond, football by the barn and the river, log splitting, target shooting, family gatherings, and I could go on and on! The best part, as always, was spending time with family that we love and miss a lot. The only thing that made coming back to Florida easier for the kids was that Grandpa, Nema, and Uncle Travis were coming the next weekend. We had a fun time with them, and now we're getting back to our regular routine.

Today is the first weekend of Little League baseball, and the boys are eager to be with their new teams and play. Jon is coaching Drew's team, and Aden is excited that Coach Chris selected him again. It's almost state fair time (the fair's in February around here), so we may head that way Monday or Tuesday. My brother's family and the Conleys are coming to Tampa for FC lectures! Can't wait to see them all.
