These pictures are from an early morning beach walk with Nema in November 2007. (I can't believe how much the kids have changed since then!) Drew found this baby starfish on the beach, and it was alive!! We were amazed, watching it move for a moment before putting it back into the ocean with the hope that it could survive. We love looking for shells, and have been known to go for hours just walking (or running) up and down the beach.
