Dad made it possible for me to travel to Jonesboro to surprise Mom at her art show. It was an exciting trip for me, and Jon's first time on his own with the kids. I left super early Tuesday morning and returned late Wednesday night. Mom's art was fantastic! I was so happy to get to be there with her, along with lots of family and friends. I think we went to our favorite coffee house, the Edge, 3 times in 24 hours for some amazing quiche, soup, tea, and Shaky Grounds. The professors let me observe Mom's defense the morning after the show, and I was so proud of her!
